Circulation System: Slurry is pumped from the bottom cone through a heat exchanger (or omitted in flash-cooling designs) and returned via a draft tube/tangential inlet. High recirculation rates (≥3 m/s) prevent scaling and ensure uniform heat transfer.
Evaporation Control: Steam flow and vacuum pressure regulate evaporation rates, maintaining vapor velocity ≤1.5 m/s to minimize droplet entrainment.

Eliminates heat exchangers for scaling-sensitive materials, using direct vaporization to reduce tube fouling risks.
